Beloit Transit officials are ready to play games with their riders.

Transit System Director Michelle Gavin says free rides will soon be offered to patrons playing Bingo. Gavin says a key deterrent for new riders is unfamiliarity with where the bus stops. The Bingo game is intended to make it fun for riders to get their cards stamped, at certain times, at specific stops. Bingo cards will be available starting August 8th. Prizes will include an IPOD, flat screen television, and gift cards.

The overall goal is to increase ridership.
