Beloit Snappers fall to Bees

— The Burlington Bees crushed the visiting Beloit Snappers under a 16-hit barrage, 13-3, in Midwest League baseball Tuesday.

The Bees torched Snappers’ starter Brad Stilling (0-2) for eight runs on eight hits in the first two innings for an 8-1 lead. Burlington pitching held the Snappers to six hits.
