— A $25,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will fuel a special speed enforcement effort in Rock County.

Sheriff's Office, Capt. Gary Groelle, says they'll be teaming up with the State Patrol to run some special enforcement efforts on I-39/90 and adjacent highways.

The special enforcement is scheduled to begin May 1st and will run through the end of September.

The reason Rock County got the grant is that it is now 5th on the list for most speed related related crashes in the state.
