Schedule finalized for JPAC lunch series

— The "JPAC Your Lunch" series for May through December will be held at noon Wednesdays on these dates at the Janesville Area Performing Arts Center, 408 S. Main St.

-- May 12—"Women in History" Judi Kneece Memorial Downtown Mural Project. Chris Moore and Janet Harris will discuss volunteer efforts made by Kneece before she died in 2009.


-- June 9—2010-11 Janesville Performing Arts Center Preview. Learn what will be offered at JPAC next season from JPAC, Janesville Presents! and others. JPAC Executive Director Emily Gruenewald will give a backstage tour.


-- July 14—Janesville Toastmasters. Speakers will provide a sampling of entertaining speeches and more about their group.


-- Aug. 11—An "Introduction to Singing with Madison Youth Choirs" class. Learn about Madison Youth Choirs. Children ages 7 to 12 can participate.


-- Sept. 8—Theatre Unlimited will present sneak preview of Camelot. The theater group will share a few scenes and songs as well as explain how it puts together large scale musicals.


-- Oct. 13—Badger Chordhawks, the largest all-male singing organization in the world, will perform, share some history and more.


-- Nov. 10—Choral Union: A Look Back, A Look Forward. Hear some of the highlights from union’s history and have a walk-through of the music of the December concert with conductor Dick Severing.


-- Dec. 8—Janesville Presents! 2011-12 Season Picking Party. Hear and see samples of some of the artists considered for the next season.
