-- WILLIAM C. PRESS, 23, of 624 Caroline St., Janesville, at 1:45 p.m. Monday at home on a charge of substantial battery. He is accused of punching a 22-year-old male and causing a cut that required six stitches March 27.

-- JACOB T. NADLER, 20, of 606 Cherry St., Janesville, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of physical abuse of a child and robbery. He is accused of fighting with a 17-year-old boy, causing injuries, and taking possessions from him April 13.

-- A 13-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 7:30 p.m. April 12, at the Janesville Police Department on a charge of sexual assault of a child. He is accused of engaging in oral sex with an 8-year-old boy.

-- GENE A. PODELLA, 21, Mauston, at 5:23 p.m. April 8 at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on charges of burglary and theft.


-- BURGLARY reported Thursday to a home in the 1300 block of Ravine Street, Janesville. Reported stolen were a flat-screen television and a video game system.

-- JAMIE L. SHERE, 24, of 2919 Dakota Drive, Janesville, at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at Glen Street and Eisenhower Avenue, Janesville.

Walworth County

-- DANIEL P. MCLEES, 47, Downers Grove, Ill., at 12:37 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Center Street, Lake Geneva, on charges of aggravated battery with intent to cause great harm and disorderly conduct.

-- MICHAEL A. KREROWICZ, 17, 824 Williams St., Lake Geneva, at 8:05 p.m. April 12, in the 800 block of Williams Street, Lake Geneva, on charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JUSTINE M. KOCHERER, 31, West Allis, at 9:31 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Mobil, 350 Edwards Blvd., Lake Geneva.

-- SHANNON N. ALEXANDER, 21, Island Lake, Ill., at 2:13 a.m. Friday on Wells Street at Host Drive, Lake Geneva. Also ticketed for operating a motor vehicle without required lamps lighted.

-- ROBERT D. SCHWENDNER, 44, of 223A N. 5th Ave., Walworth, at 11:10 p.m. April 13, on Wells Street at Lake Geneva Boulevard, Lake Geneva. It was listed as his fourth offense. Also ticketed for operating left of center.
