Man dies Sunday from motorcycle injuries
Goodin, who was not wearing a helmet as he drove north on County E, failed to stop for a stop sign at Highway 14, hit a ditch and was thrown 77 feet before his motorcycle landed on top of him, according to sheriff’s office reports.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. at Highway 14 and County E. Upon arrival, sheriff’s office deputies found Goodin pinned under his 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Once deputies and a passerby removed the motorcycle from Goodin, deputies started cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Janesville Fire Department paramedics and firefighters arrived on scene and took Goodin to Mercy Hospital.
