A webinar planned by Mercy Health System in Janesville is intended to help prevent sexual assault.

The social and emotional difficulties related to discussing the topic of sexual assault is prompting Mercy to offer the webinar to assist victims. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program Coordinator Jackie Friar says the goal is to offer assistance in an anonymous atmosphere. The privacy offered through a webinar may help those reluctant to discuss the issue openly, get the answers they seek.

Sign up for the 6:00 p.m. event Tuesday night can be found on line at MercyWebinars.org.
