— Beloit Memorial High School won the nine team Icebreaker boys golf tournament at The Bridges on Monday.

The Purple Knights posted a 313 team score to top Sun Prairie’s 319. Janesville Craig finished third with 321, while Janesville Parker posted a 357.

“I gave them a goal of 320 and we shot 321 in wet conditions,” Craig coach Domenic Wiegel said. “We were consistent. I think that will be our strength all year.’’

Craig’s Tanner Woodman carded a 77 (38-39) to tie Chris Day and Brody Mauel, both of Beloit, for fifth place. Quinn Moe of Madison Memorial carded a 3-over 75 to win medalist honors.
