— The body of a Sullivan man missing since November was found Sunday morning by hunters in the town of Oakland, according to a press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The remains of Joseph M. Coloso II, 46, were located in a marsh area northwest of North Oakland and Perry Road. The location is about 1.5 miles from where Coloso’s vehicle was found Nov. 13 after a search in the area by Jefferson County’s canine unit, sheriff’s deputies, Cambridge firefighters and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Air Wing.

Coloso was recovering from a severe head injury and had not been seen after being released from an Oconomowoc hospital, according to Gazette files. He was reported missing Nov. 12.

An autopsy was performed, and no foul play was indicated, but cause of death remains unknown. A follow-up investigation continues by the sheriff’s office’s detective bureau, the release said.
