Arrests

-- CAMERON C. THOMPSON, 20, of 3141 W. Danbury Drive, Janesville, at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at home on a charge of physical abuse to a child.


-- NICHOLAS T. SANDERS, 19, of 172 E. Deer Run Park Road, Edgerton, at 9:57 p.m. Friday at Highway 59 and Interstate 90/39, Fulton Township, on a charge of absolute sobriety. Also ticketed for underage transport of intoxicants in motor vehicle and speeding.


-- ARMANDO TINAJERO, 32, of 1316 Hamilton Ave., Janesville, at 2:16 p.m. Monday at home on a charge of felony failure to report to jail on a previous disorderly conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon charge.


-- MARCIE A. MITCHELL, 38, of 2212 E. Hart Road, Beloit, at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of forgery.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- ANTHONY J. DIX, 24 of 1419 Starling Lane, Janesville, at 2:49 a.m. Monday at Hamilton Avenue and Washington Street, Janesville. It is listed as his second drunken-driving arrest.


-- RACHEL A. CHAPMAN, 24, Beloit, at 2:31 a.m. Sunday at County G south of Detroit Avenue, Rock Township. Also ticketed for knowingly fleeing an officer, reckless driving and speeding.


Accidents

-- HART ROAD AT INTERSTATE 90/39, Turtle Township, at 2:46 p.m. Friday. A motorcycle driven by Keegan R. Jinsky, 19, of 1645 6th St., Beloit, was westbound as he crossed over the I-90/39 bridge when a strong gust of crosswind caused him to go off the roadway and down the steep embankment. Jinsky was thrown from the motorcycle as he and the bike tumbled down the slope. Jinsky was treated and released at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit. He was cited for having an expired driver’s license.


-- ROTAMER ROAD NORTH OF GRANDVIEW DRIVE, Harmony Township, at 1:52 p.m. Friday. A car driven by Joshua J. Weitzel, 20, of 3893 Dorado Drive, Janesville, was northbound when his passenger-side tires went off the right side of the road. He overcorrected and entered the west ditch and hit a tree stump. His car went airborne and came to rest on the driver’s side in the roadway. Weitzel was treated and released at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. He was cited for reckless driving.


-- HIGHWAY 26 AT COUNTY N, Milton Township, at 9:56 p.m. Thursday. A car driven by Katrina L. Ryan, 24, Grantsburg, was eastbound on County N, stopped at Highway 26, when she pulled out and struck the front driver’s side of a sport utility vehicle driven by Larry R. Johnson, 64, Fort Atkinson. Johnson’s vehicle skidded on the passenger-side tires, landed on the passenger side and skidded until it turned upright in the east ditch. Johnson and a passenger, Lenore L. Johnson, 63, of the same address, were reportedly transported to a local hospital, but their conditions were not available Monday. Ryan was treated and released at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, and cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.


-- PEARL STREET AND LAUREL AVENUE, Janesville, at 7:32 a.m. Thursday. A vehicle driven by Heather L. Castrogiovanni, 32, of 1014 Laurel Ave., rear, Janesville, was eastbound on Laurel Avenue when she struck a northbound vehicle driven by Jennette L. Sage, 35, of 121 S. Willard Ave, Janesville, in the intersection. Castrogiovanni was treated and released at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, and cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. A passenger in her vehicle, Monique K. Castrogiovanni, 15, of the same address, also was treated at Mercy, but her condition was not available Monday.


-- 2800 BLOCK OF HARVARD DRIVE, Janesville, at 4:21 p.m. March 30. A motorcycle driven by Michael L. Severson, 53, of 2845 Harvard Drive, Janesville, was westbound when the motorcycle’s brakes locked up and he fell off. He said he was having problems with the brakes and was taking a test drive around the block. Severson reportedly was transported to a local hospital, but his condition was not available Monday.


Fire

-- STORAGE SHED FIRE at 8:23 p.m. Monday at 11518 W. Brandherm Road, Newark Township. The shed and its contents were destroyed, according to Orfordville Fire Department Capt. Steve Ryan. No other details were available Tuesday.


Reported

-- BURGLARY reported at 3:41 p.m. Monday, March 29, to a home and garage in the 11200 block of South Summerville Road, Clinton. Reported stolen were two all-terrain vehicles, guns, televisions and a computer.


-- BURGLARY reported at 2:01 p.m. Saturday to a storage unit in the 4800 block of East Case Drive, Janesville. Reported stolen was a charcoal grill.
