— An Illinois man arrested in Janesville was sentenced in U.S. District Court on Monday to 10 years in prison for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

Raymond Gray, 31, of Rockford, Ill., had 36 grams of crack cocaine, $4,000 in cash and a loaded .40-caliber handgun when Janesville police stopped a vehicle he was in on Locust Street and Centerway on Sept. 8, 2008, according to a Wisconsin Department of Justice news release.

Gray's sentence was enhanced because he had prior drug-trafficking convictions. He pleaded guilty to the charge in July.
