Janesville Cougars volleyball rolls past East
JANESVILLE Janesville Craig’s volleyball team is on a roll.
Craig High swept its second straight Big Eight Conference match Tuesday night with a
3-0 win over Madison East.
The Cougars (3-4) jumped on the Purgolders in Game 1 and never let up, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.
“We came out strong in Game 1, and then played pretty consistent in Games 2 and 3,” Craig coach Blake Budrow said.
“Michelle Straw did a great job at the net and reading the floor, and Kelsey Kennedy mixed it up and got everybody involved offensively.”
