Rock County shuffles flu clinics
ROCK COUNTY The Rock County Health Department is rearranging their remaining seasonal flu clinics to get as many people in as early as possible.
County Nursing Director, Janet Zoellner, says they're doing this to accommodate the arrival of the H1N1 vaccine due in late October or early November. She says nurses are expected to be very busy later in the year, with the H1N1 clinics.
At late report, the doses will be delivered in late October or early November. The CDC reports flu cases in southern Rock County, mostly on college campuses, are probably the H1N1 virus since the seasonal flu usually doesn't show up until later in the year.
