Two long touchdown passes got Stoughton High rolling in Badger South football Friday night at Fort Atkinson.

Eric Gerber hit Tyler Kowalkowski on a 66-yard scoring strike, and Ben Mikkelson on a 58-yard touchdown pass, and the Vikings rolled to a 24-8 victory.

Gerber added a 61-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as the Vikings went to 1-2 in the conference and 2-3 overall. Gerber threw for 191 yards and rushed 10 times for 96 more.

C.J. Zimmerman carried 18 times for 126 yards for Fort (0-5, 0-3).

Edgewood 42, Monroe 7—Mike Eshun returned the opening kickoff 93 yards for the first of five touchdowns to lead Madison Edgewood past the visiting Cheesemakers (1-4, 1-2) in a Badger South game.

Eshun added touchdown runs of 1, 39 and 14 yards and returned an interception 22 yards for another score as Edgewood went to 2-0 in the conference and 4-1 overall.

Monroe scored its only TD on a 10-yard pass from Michael Barrett to Brian Tordoff.
