-- BRANDON M. HALABI, 18, of 4101 Windmill Lane, Janesville, at 4:47 a.m. Friday at Highway 26 south of Woodcrest Drive, Harmony Township, on charges of absolute sobriety and open intoxicants.

-- STEVE M. HARRIEL, 36, of 237 Madison St., Apt. 3, Janesville, at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday at the Janesville Police Department on four charges of manufacture or delivery of cocaine and one charge of maintaining a drug trafficking place.

-- JUSTIN J. PAUL, 21, of 720 Benton Ave., Janesville, at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday at home on charges of robbery and substantial battery. He is accused of beating and robbing a man of $115 in a downtown parking lot on Sept. 3.

-- 20-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE MAN, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.

-- MAURICE J. HIBBLER, 24, of 313 N. High St., Janesville, at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of burglary to commit battery, battery and criminal damage to property.

-- JEREMY N. WILSON, 32, of 6219 S. Highway 51, No. 1105, Janesville, at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant charging him with mistreatment of animals, abandonment of animals and failure to provide proper food and water to animals. He also was arrested on a probation hold.

-- A 14-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY was referred to juvenile authorities at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at 3125 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, on charges of theft and possession of a dangerous weapon at school. The stolen item was an X-Acto knife, according to police reports.


-- FRAUDULENT WRITINGS reported at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Sioux Court, Janesville. A woman reported a fraud by mail.

-- BATTERY BY PRISONER reported at 7:45 a.m. Monday in the Rock County Jail. Two inmates got into a fight.

-- BURGLARY to an apartment in the 400 block of South Main Street, Janesville, reported Tuesday. A laptop was reported stolen.

-- THEFT of an all-terrain vehicle from a residence in the 4100 block of County D, Janesville, reported 10:03 a.m. Tuesday. The Polaris ATV is valued at $3,200.

-- BURGLARY AND THEFT reported Sunday at Raxx, 1605 Newport Ave., Janesville. A window was reported damaged and phone lines into the building were cut. Reported stolen were a cash register, cash, a hard drive and stereo equipment.

-- ANTIONNE P. SMITH, 35, of 321 S. Pearl St., Janesville, at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Avenue and Rugby Road, Janesville.

-- JAMES M. ROWLEY, 37, of 507 E. Beloit St., Orfordville, at 6:50 p.m. Sunday on Highway 11 at Gilbert Road, Plymouth Township. It was reported as his second arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

-- ANGEL L. FERNANDEZ, 42, of 2611 Harvard Road, No. 4, Janesville, at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department.


-- HIGHWAY 81 EAST OF SMYTHE SCHOOL ROAD, NEWARK TOWNSHIP At 4:54 a.m. Saturday, a vehicle driven by Jonathan M. McDonald, 23, Roscoe, Ill., failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 81, left the roadway and rolled across the roadway into a ditch and through a fence. McDonald was treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and cited for not wearing his seat belt.
