— A Delavan man was sentenced Thursday to 18 months prison and two years extended supervision on charges of possession of methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

Christopher S. Wall, 44, of 1420 Birchwood St., Delavan, was arrested March 26 after the Walworth County sheriff’s deputies responded to a trespassing complaint in Richmond Township on March 14. The caller gave officers a description of a truck and license plate numbers.

Officers found starting fluid, acetone and rags that might have been used for filters in the methamphetamine manufacturing process.

The truck that had been seen at the field was found abandoned in a driveway on S&D Townline Road in Delavan Township.

Officers searched the area and the truck and found tubing, filter paper and acetone, which are associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine, police said. Investigators determined Wall owned the truck.
