Beloit School District health officials hope to raise enough money to buy 11 automated External Defibrillators.
Wellness Director Kelly Jenkins wants to see at least one in every school, with two in larger buildings. AED's are medical devices that can check a person's heart rhythm and administer a shock if needed in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.
A fun run/walk is planned for 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Big Hill Park.
