M & I Bank robbery suspect, Beloit

— Beloit police are investigating a reported bank robbery reported Thursday afternoon around 1:30.

Police Capt. Bill Tyler says the suspect entered the M&I at 500 East Grand Ave., handed the teller a note demanding cash, and then fled on foot.

Police are comparing this robbery with one reported last Monday at the First American Credit Union on 4th Street in Beloit to see if there are any similarities.

Look at this shot from M&I Bank, and then look at the one from FACU robbery the day before - http://www.beloitdailynews.com/articles/... - and note the way the thief rests his left arm on the counter.
