Tougher drunk driving rules meet with local legislator's approval

A local state representative is pleased a bill to increase penalties for drunk drivers is moving through the legislature.

A bill making the fourth offense for drunk driving a felony has already passed the assembly. Speaker Mike Sheridan of Janesville tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show the culture concerning drinking and driving needs to change in Wisconsin.

He's confident the measure will also pass in the State Senate.

Suggest removal

bold stand mr sheridan. i applaud you. or you could grow a set and tell them 4th offense drunk driving being a felony...in some cases...is a joke. drunk driving puts sooooooooooo many INNOCENT people at risk of DEATH that a second offense should warrant a felony...in some cases.
