Janesville Cougars fall in conference golf finale
JANESVILLE Janesville Craig’s girls golf team came up just short in its bid to finish above .500 in the Big Eight Conference.
Craig High lost to Madison Memorial, 387-393, on Tuesday at Riverside to complete the conference dual schedule with a 4-5 record.
Memorial’s Jennifer Haberslaben was the medalist with an 88, while Lindsey Beals paced the Cougars with a 92.
Meanwhile, Middleton defeated Madison West, 322-348, to win the undisputed Big Eight dual championship.
The Cardinals finished 9-0, followed by Janesville Parker at 8-1 and West at 7-2.
