— A 31-year-old man was charged Monday in connection with a fight that sent an Edgerton man to University Hospital.

Robbie J. Hess, address unknown, was charged in Rock County Court with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, according to online court records.

According to an Edgerton police report, Hess punched Ryan S. Kruckenberg, 30, of 6 E. Fulton St. No. 2, Edgerton, in the face Sept. 5 at Two Brothers Bar, 116 W. Fulton St., Edgerton. Kruckenberg fell backward and hit his head, knocking him unconscious, the report says.

Kruckenberg was admitted with a probable concussion to University Hospital, Madison, where he was later discharged.
