WCLO's Steve Benton reports natural gas prices are down, which means lower home heating bills this winter
ROCK COUNTY Alliant Energy customers should see lower home heating bills this winter.
Alliant spokesman, Steve Schultz, says supplies of gas are at near record levels and the demand is down, so the price is falling.
Schultz says, "compared to last year, the average customer should pay about $210.00 less for natural gas.
Schultz says the six month heating season starts October 1st and ends March 31st.

I have heard two different stories on this now. Alliant says down and some other thing(cannot remember) says same up up EVEN THOUGH cost is down. WHICH IS IT!!??
