Rock County's libraries often serve low-income and homeless families. Now the Arrowhead Library System is partnering with a local task force of non-profits to help educate the public about poverty in Rock County.

Spokeswoman Martha Gammons says Tuesday's discussion will focus on "Nickel and Dimed". Author Barbara Ehrenreich tryed to support herself working minimum wage jobs in three different areas.

Gammons says participants do not need to read the book ahead of time, and members of the Rock County Vision 20/20 will provide information about Rock County's poverty levels.

Tuesday's discussion takes place at Eager Free Publick Library in Evansville at 10:30am.
