-- MELVIN T. FIELDS, 24, Madison, at 3:51 p.m. Monday on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and unauthorized use of personal identification.


-- JAMIE B. BEGGS, 25, of 11104 W. Mineral Point Road, Janesville, at 7:06 a.m. Sunday on a charge of felony battery. The victim, a 28-year-old Janesville man, was in fair condition at Mercy Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- LUKAS J. PETERSEN, 23, of 510 S. Franklin St., Janesville, at 1:57 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Main Street, Janesville.


-- DAVID L. HILL, 29, of 1 Mechanic St. No. 1, Edgerton, Sept. 1 on charges of burglary and criminal damage to property. He's accused of entering a house on York Road and trying to break into a lock box.


-- CARLOS A. MATAMOROS-GUARDADO, 17, of 6219 S. Highway 51 No. 102, Janesville, at 1:34 a.m. Saturday on charges of felony battery and disorderly conduct. Abraham Farias, 49, same address, was charged with disorderly conduct.


-- CRAIG A. STEINOL, 27, of 346 Forest Lake, Milton, at 10:30 a.m. Friday on warrants charging third- and fourth-offense intoxicated driving.


-- PHILLIP A. BYRD, 35, Providence, R.I., at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at County G and West Sunny Lane, Janesville, on a warrant charging third-offense intoxicated driving.


-- CRAIG L. BELTS, 20, of 2114 Harrison Ave., Beloit, at 5:41 a.m. Thursday on County D south of River Road, Rock Township. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license and underage transporting of intoxicants.


-- JASON G. MARZAHL, 33, of 6949 S. Highway 213, Beloit, at 12:31 a.m. Aug. 29 on Interstate 90/39 south of Racine Street. He also was cited for unsafe lane deviation. It was reported as his second intoxicated-driving arrest.


-- NICKY J. EWERS, 34, of 716 Miller Ave., Janesville, at 3:34 p.m. Aug. 23 on Highway 59 west of Berg Road, Lima Township. It was reported as his third drunken-driving arrest. He also was cited for driving with a revoked license and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.


-- GERARDO TOBAR-MARTINEZ, 21, Madison, at 9 p.m. Sept. 1 on Goede Road north of Highway 59, Fulton Township. He also was cited for driving without a valid drivers license and having open intoxicants in the vehicle.


-- LISA L. BLACKBURN, 38, of 98 Lakeview Ave., Edgerton, at 12:25 a.m. Friday on Highway 59 south of Charley Bluff Road, Milton Township. She also was cited for driving left of center.


-- ALEJANDRO SILVA-DENIZ, 48, of 140 Eastland Drive, Clinton, at 12:38 a.m. Friday at Hart Road south of Lathers Road, Turtle Township. He also was cited for driving left of center and driving without a valid license.

-- GRAFFITTI reported Sunday morning at Marshall Middle School, 25 S. Pontiac Drive, Janesville; at Hoffman House Catering Service, 2616 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville; and on a stop sign at Forest Park Boulevard and Holmes Street, Janesville. The graffiti appeared to be gang-related.


-- BURGLARY reported at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Menard Street, Janesville. The victim reported a PlayStation 3 and seven games worth a total of $820 stolen.


-- BURGLARY reported at 6 p.m. Thursday on County H, Porter Township. The victim reported a chainsaw worth $500 stolen.


-- BURGLARY reported Thursday on East Vail Terrace, Turtle Township. The victim said two men came to her home. One distracted her by offering to do yard work while the other went into the house and stole $120 from her purse, she said.


Accidents

-- MILTON AVENUE AND RANDOLPH STREET, Janesville, at 10:32 p.m. Sunday. A vehicle driven by Teresa D. Simons, 19, of 1206 Blaine St., Edgerton, was on the wrong side of the road when it crashed head-on into a vehicle driven by Nathan A. Moench. Simons was admitted to Mercy Hospital and discharged Monday. She was arrested on an intoxicated-driving charge and cited for driving left of the centerline.


-- CENTERWAY AND ACADEMY STREET, JANESVILLE, at 7:37 p.m. Friday. A motorcycle driven by Brett C. Reichard, 43, of 1747 Wisconsin Ave., Beloit, struck a car driven by Kyle G. Walker, 18, of 2920 Harvard Drive, Janesville, as the car turned left onto Academy Street. Reichard was admitted to Mercy Hospital and released Monday. A passenger on the motorcycle, Malissa E. Damiper, 22, of 1747 Wisconsin Ave., Beloit, was treated and released at Mercy Hospital. Reichard was arrested on a drunken driving charge and cited for driving without a valid motorcycle license. Walker was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.


-- HIGHWAY 14 AND HACKBARTH ROAD, LA PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP at 9:54 a.m. Sept. 1. A pickup truck driven by Larry L. Nelson, 73, of W2167 Towns Road, Albany, rear-ended a pickup truck driven by Krista K. White, 28, of 2710 Joliet St., Janesville, at a stop sign. Nelson and White were treated and released at Mercy Hospital. A passenger in White's truck, Cierra J. White, 2, was brought to Mercy Hospital as a precaution, according to the accident report.
