Beloit Snappers whiff vs. Bandits
QUAD CITIES A season of frustration continued for the Beloit Snappers on Thursday night.
The Snappers struck out 13 times en route to an 8-3 loss to the Quad Cities River Bandits in a Midwest League game.
Beloit (27-39 in the second half) scored single runs in the first three innings, but Quad Cities responded with six runs to take a 6-3 lead.
Liam Hendriks (3-5) suffered the loss for Beloit.
The two teams wrap up the three-game series tonight.
