The grounds are quiet now, but this weekend around 20,000 people are expected to visit Laborfest.

Bert Brookens, Laborfest president, says it's such an important event to him that he's taking his vacation time to organize the event this year, traveling back to Janesville after being transferred to another plant. He says it's not a United Auto Workers event, but a community event. Mmost of the people are union members from southern Wisconsin. He says up to 50,000 people will watch and participate in the Labor Day parade.

Brookens expects forty-six teams of twelve to play mud volleyball at Laborfest.
