Janesville police urge safe driving as school opens
As the school year gets underway, Janesville Police Sergeant Brian Donohoue tells WCLO's Stan Milam show, motorists need to watch out for kids, obey the law, and take a little extra time.
Donohoue says additional patrols will be deployed in school zone areas in the hope of reducing injuries to children. Another top concern for police every year is parking.
Donohoue says complaints include double parking, blocking driveways, and illegal parking in school areas.
