Trust me, it's not "15 will get you 20". In most cases in Rock County, the DA considers these boyfriend/girlfriend cases (regardless of age) as fruitless and normally there is not enough "evidence" to charge. Obviously we don't know the circumstances (based on this report). I think too many people brush this off, though, as normal teenage behavior!

What kind of trouble is the girl going to get into? She'll get away free and clear while he's going to have a record. It seems it was consensual, and has been going on for some time. Did she get mad at him and turn him in? Talk about a double standard...jeeese!!

Hockey-I am with you on this one..No-its not right on either side -however do any of you remember when you were 15-16? Fat chance anyone could keep you from doing something you shouldnt..I also feel that males pay a higher criminal price.. Also my comments are only in the event that this was a sort of dating relationship..

You are right, he is the adult, he should have known better, but I don't think that justifies the sentences that are handed out. These boys, which is the case with most 18-19 years olds, are getting tougher sentences than people who kill other people. And then on top of it, their names and addresses are posted for everyone to view and JUDGE them. Do we do that with the murders, no. And judge them you do, just like you have done on this post. You don't have any idea what the circumstances were and already you have convicted and sentenced him.

Its funny how if this is a dating situation how so many people react to the male in this position..Rarely would you see a 18-21 yr. old woman with the same charges.

It doesn't matter what she says, or how old she looks. He knew her, he knew her age and the law says he can't legally have sex with her. I wish I knew who the people are who think this is OK. I would really keep my kids away from them

You people slay me. You have none of the facts yet he should be put in jail for 20 years! I got news for you, look at the 15 year olds now days, they don't look it or act like it, yet it is all on the guy! Where is her responsibility or better yet, her parents!

My first time was at 16 and I as I dont regret it sometimes I wonder if I should have waited.

This post is a waste of bandwidth. You guys have better things to be writing about. If it were various people, I could understand. But this informatin here doesn't even tell us if it was consentual or not so quit making the guy out to be a rapist.

So, was there anything on another guy who sexually abused a lady with a developmental disability (Downs Syndrome)? Or is it just pedephiles that are reported?
