UW-Whitewater whittles down field of candidates for important administrative position

A local university closes in on a candidate for a key position.

UW-Whitewater has chosen four finalists for a new Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs position. The finalists include Martin Tadlock, who is currently an Assistant Vice Chancellor at UW-Oshkosh. Alan Hartman, past Dean of the College of Business at UW-Oshkosh. Robert Augustine, a Graduate School Dean at Eastern Illinois University. Beverly Kopper, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs at the University of Northern Iowa.

The four were chosen from a field of 56 applicants, and will be on campus for interviews next week.
