The number of jobs in the Janesville area could be affecting the health of the county's citizens.
People under stress are more likely to develop chronic conditions. That's an issue the Janesville League of Women Voters plans to discuss Wednesday. President Kay Deupree says the league will hear from Karen Cain, Rock County's health officer, about the types of disease most commonly found in Rock County, how the county compares to others in Wisconsin, and how citizens can help with these challenges.
The discussion is open to the public from noon to 1pm Wednesday at M&I Bank's downtown location.
