Parker falls in double OT

— Janesville Parker High School played well, but lost a 3-2 heartbreaker in double overtime to Jefferson in nonconference boys soccer Monday.

“It was hard. We have no wins yet (0-18),” Parker coach Andy Holmes said. “The guys gave it everything they had. ... It’s the best game we’ve played.’’

Jefferson’s Manuel Sosa’s winner came on a penalty kick at 95 minutes, 46 seconds.

Julian Cruz-Portugal scored Parker’s first goal at 30:13 of the first half and Caleb Williams scored at 50:59 of the second half to tie the game at 2-2.
