It's Gifted Education Week in Wisconsin, and Janesville schools are changing the structure of how they teach the students identified as "gifted".

Ruth Robinson, Coordinator of Gifted Education, says there are instructional managers at every building, instead of programs just at the elementary schools. She says classroom teachers receive leadership pay to work as advocates for the gifted students in their classes. The students will be clustered according to ability in order enhance the lessons.

The structure changes are new this year.
