WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on rise in the number of Rock County home sales

RSS

The number of home sales in Rock county is on the rise.

Rock-Green Realtors Association President Paula Carrier says the October numbers are up almost 25% from the month before, and 30% from the same period a year ago. Carrier says a combination of low interest rates, prices, large inventory, and a federal first time buyer program are helping fuel demand.

She's cautiously optimistic the trend will continue through the fourth quarter of the year.
