Warhawk soccer falls to Dominican

— UW-Whitewater lost, 1-0, to Dominican University in the second round of the NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament Sunday afternoon.

Edwin Lagunas scored the winning goal at 15:21 of the first half. Whitewater had three chances, but Alex Szarzynski and Ryan Richgels were turned away in the first half and Dan Montayne’s penalty kick was stopped in the second half.

The Warhawks finish the season at 12-6-3.
