— The Janesville Jets outshot the Marquette Rangers on Friday night, but the Rangers made the most of their opportunities in a NAHL North Division battle at Marquette, Mich.

Josh Bussell scored twice, and Lukas Hafner stopped 31 shots as Marquette pulled away for a 4-1 victory.

The expansion Jets (9-9), who saw a two-game winning streak snapped, ousthot the Rangers 32-28 but could get only one shot past Hafner. Jordan Bancroft’s third-period goal avoided the shut out for Janesville.

Marquette (11-6), which was swept by Janesville last weekend, remained in second place in the North Division.

Janesville goalie Matt Wichorek stopped 24 shots but gave up three goals in the second period as Marquette opened up a 4-0 lead.
