Lanigan leads Beloit Snappers

SOUTH BEND, IND. — Bobby Lanigan was the story Thursday night for the Beloit Snappers.

The righthander threw seven shutout innings to lead Beloit to a 4-2 Midwest League win over the South Bend Silver Hawks.

Beloit (17-29) banged out four doubles in the victory, including three in a two-run second inning.

Lanigan improved to 5-3 with the win, while Joe Testa earned his first save.
