An electrical short circuit is being blamed for a fire late Thursday morning at 2355 Milton Avenue in Janesville.
Fire officials say they arrived at the vacant video rental store to find flames coming from two areas under the eves. Fire Captain Bill McAfee says the cause appears to be live wires left after the neon lights were removed.
Damage is fairly minor.
