A special education teacher at Jackson Elementary School in Janesville is using a specially trained Dachshund mix to help students learn to read.
Teacher Helen Burton says "Tales with Tabby" is doing wonders for the children because a dog will listen without judging, laughing, or criticizing. Tabitha is a certified reading therapy dog.
She listens to children read and is a buddy for others.
