Janesville Aces sweep Addison Braves

JANESVILLE — The Janesville Aces swept the visiting Addison Braves to opened the Wisconsin State Baseball League season Sunday.

The Aces posted 4-3 and

3-2 victories, winning each game in the bottom of the seventh inning.

In Game 1, Janesville scored twice in the seventh to earn the victory and in Game 2, the Aces rallied for three runs for the win.

T.J. Klawitter went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Aces in the opener. Tanner Davis

(1-0) blanked Addison on four hits through three innings of relief to gain the victory.

In the nightcap, Carl

D’Marco had three hits and an RBI to pace the Aces’ eight-hit attack. Klawitter added two hits in two trips for a perfect 5-for-5 two-game effort.

Pete Loizzo (1-0) shut out Addison with two innings of one-hit relief to record the victory.
