Intoxicated driving arrests
-- SAMUEL PUCHEDA MARTINEZ, 31, Portage, at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at Glen Street and Milton Avenue, Janesville.
-- SCOTT L. MORDECAI, 42, of 2118 S. Marion Ave., Janesville, at 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Center Avenue, Janesville. It was reportedly his fourth offense.
-- EDY QUINONES RAMOS, 22, of 20 S. Pontiac Drive, No. 204, Janesville, at 1:28 a.m. Thursday at Pontiac Drive and Milwaukee Street, Janesville.
Arrests
-- A 13-YEAR-OLD MILTON BOY at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday at his home was referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. The boy was accused of driving his mother’s car.

-- BURGLARY reported at 8:32 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment in the 1300 block of Hamilton Avenue, Janesville. Reported stolen was $2,000 in electronic equipment.
Accidents
-- 2300 BLOCK OF MINERAL POINT AVENUE, Janesville, at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday a pickup truck driven by Terry A. Rognholt, 47, of 1129 Monterey Lane, Janesville, was traveling along the road when his passenger, Michelle L. Kinna, 36, of 1129 Monterey Lane, Janesville, jumped out of the truck. Kinna told police she jumped from the truck because the driver wouldn’t stop and let her out. She was treated at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, and released.
-- MILTON-HARMONY TOWNLINE ROAD AND TARRANT ROAD, Milton Township, at 6:54 a.m. Tuesday, a car driven by Brian L. Smith, 46, of 4544 E. Highway 14, No. 4, Janesville, collided with a car driven by Randall T. Contant, 61, of 1022 Bonnie Brae Lane, Lake Geneva. Smith was ticketed for failing to yield at a stop sign. His passenger, Melody K. Zeatlow, 32, of 4544 E. Highway 14, No. 4, Janesville, was treated at Mercy Hospital and released. Contant’s passenger, Linda J. Contant, 56, of 1022 Bonnie Brae Lane, Lake Geneva, also was treated at Mercy Hospital and released.
-- 3200 BLOCK OF KENNEDY ROAD, Janesville, at 11:30 a.m. Monday. A vehicle driven by Arlo W. Kanter, 82, of 3234 Kennedy Road, Janesville, backed out of his driveway and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Edward G. Murphy, 56, of 7058 N. Highway 51, Janesville. Kanter’s vehicle continued backing across the four lanes of traffic, jumped the curb, climbed an embankment and came to rest against a tree. Kanter told police his foot slipped off the brake onto the accelerator. Kanter was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and cited for unsafe backing.
-- SERNS ROAD AND OAKVIEW DRIVE, Milton Township, at 1:49 p.m. Sunday, a car driven by Alessandra P. Turcotte, 21, of 6115 W. Burrwood Drive, Janesville, slid off the road and struck a tree. Turcotte was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions. She also was transported to a local hospital, but her condition was unknown Thursday.
