Peoria batters Beloit
BELOIT The visiting Peoria Chiefs continued to feast on Beloit Snappers’ pitching, pounding out 16 hits for a 9-1 victory in Midwest League baseball Tuesday.
The Chiefs have collected 30 hits in two victores over the Snappers.
Peoria went wild, hitting four home runs, while Beloit was held to one run on three hits.
Snappers’ starter Brad Tippett allowed four runs on eight hits through the first five innings to take the loss.
