Craig tops Middleton, West

BELOIT — Janesville Craig High School won two out of three matches to complete the Big Eight boys dual golf season golf season Monday at the Beloit Country Club.

Craig posted a 318 to defeat Middleton (325) and Madison West (327). Beloit Memorial swept the meet with a 316 team score.

The Cougars’ Greg Reuf shot a 71 for medalist honors, while Ian Larson followed with a 79, Ryan McCory carded an 82 and Ross Peterson posted an 82.

Parker falls to Verona—Janesville Parker lost 334-382 to host Verona at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club to conclude the Big Eight Conference dual season.

Eric Benzel carded a 90 to lead the Vikings. Parker finished 1-8 in the Big Eight.
