East Troy takes down Whitewater

— Whitewater High’s girls track and field team made its Rock Valley meet debut here Saturday riding a 15-year conference title winning streak dating back to the Whippets’ days in the Southern Lakes.

East Troy, the Whippets’ former Southern Lakes rival who joined them in the new Rock Valley, made sure that winning streak was left in the past—winning six individual and three relay titles to lead the 12-team field with 126 points.
