PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP — The woman found beaten in her home outside Orfordville remains in critical condition at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
The woman in her 40s remains unconscious with severe head injuries after being found at 1 p.m. Sunday in Country Courts Trailer Home Park, about a mile northeast of Orfordville on South Old Highway 11, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives have no suspects in the crime, Spoden said.
It is unknown whether the attack was domestic, random or sexual in nature, sheriff's officials said. No weapon has been discovered.
Detectives continue to investigate the crime, sheriff's officials said.
