Washington Street closing Monday

— North Washington Street from Franklin Street/Highland Avenue to Elizabeth Street will be closed for construction for about seven days beginning early Monday.

Traffic will be detoured onto North Pearl Street and Elizabeth Street. Access to the Dean/Riverview Clinic parking lot fronting North Washington Street will be available from Elizabeth Street.

The West Court city bus route will detour south on Pearl Street, east on Elizabeth Street to return to North Washington Street. Passengers for Dean-Riverview Clinic will be served at a temporary bus stop at the southwest corner of Elizabeth and Washington streets.
