Rock County

Arrests

- ERIC L. STOKER, 17, of 10619 N. County Line Road No. 48, Whitewater, at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on charges of recklessly endangering safety, possession of an electric weapon, minor in possession of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct while armed. According to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office report, Stoker and VAUGHN P. DAILEY, 18, of 10619 N. County Line Road No. 50, Whitewater, got into an argument with their neighbors. Stoker shot at the neighbors’ vehicle with a shotgun as it drove away, the report says. Dailey confronted the neighbors with brass knuckles and challenged them to a fight, the report says. Dailey was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.

Intoxicated driving arrests

- JOSEPH E. PEABODY, 22, of 732 Capman St., Milton, at 9:49 p.m. Tuesday at South Riverside Drive north of Neese Parkway, 2. He also was cited for driving with a revoked license and driving left of center.

- ATTEMPTED BURGLARY reported at 6 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Marion Avenue, Janesville.

- TRESPASS AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY reported at 1:45 p.m. April 27 in the 4700 block of Tuttle Road, Union Township. The victim said someone entered his property and removed an earthen berm, causing his field to flood.

- DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE reported at 8:23 a.m. Sunday in the 11800 block of Salisbury Road, Whitewater. The victim said five dogs that live nearby entered his property and attacked his dog. The dog that was attacked nearly died. The owner of the five dogs, KIMBERLY J. TOTH, 30, of 11769 E. Salisbury Road, Whitewater, was cited for dogs running at large, dogs doing damage and dogs without rabies vaccines. She said she planned to take the dogs to the Rock County Humane Society because she couldn’t confine them, according to a report from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

Walworth County

Intoxicated driving arrests

- ROGELIO CASTILLO GONZALEZ, 38, of 126 Center St., Whitewater, on Thursday on West Main Street, Whitewater. He also was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license.

Fire calls

- HOUSE FIRE at 2:17 a.m. Sunday on Snake Road, Linn Township. Firefighters found the 3,600-square-foot home, which was under construction, fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported. The home was a total loss, but a damage estimate was not available. The cause remains under investigation.

Accidents

- HIGHWAY 12 SOUTH OF BUCKINGHAM ROAD, KOSHKONONG TOWNSHIP A Penn Tank Lines semitrailer truck driven by Thomas E. Richter, 54, Greenfield, was eastbound on Highway 12 when it failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, struck a guard rail and a utility pole and overturned, dumping its load of drywall at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday. The truck came to rest on its passenger side. Richter was reportedly transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
