Janesville water safe to drink

Residents on Janesville's east side need not boil their water before consuming it.
Additional testing after recent Coliform/E. Coli bacteria was detected has shown the water is safe. No bacteria was detected in the additional tests.
All city residents may use water as usual and no boiling is necessary.

Suggest removal
So was there contamination yesterday? Just wondering. The article says the water is safe now, but not how "unsafe" it was yesterday. Just wish we could be told how sever the problem was or wasn't.
