Arrowhead rules Division 1 Ashenfelter
The conditions at the 55th annual Ashenfelter were breezy and a tad on the cool side, but they were warm and dry enough for two-time defending WIAA Division 1 state champion Arrowhead to dust the Division 1 field with a four-man total of 296.
While Arrowhead left little doubt over who would win the Division 1 team title, Elkhorn and Milton finished in a tie at 326 to place atop the 17-team Division 2 field.
An Elkhorn player had to leave the course immediately after his round due to a family emergency, leaving the Elks with three players and unable to compete in a tiebreaker. Therefore, the Division 2 title was awarded to Milton.
