BELOIT — Janesville Craig High School didn’t get past Beloit Memorial’s Ali Goecks this time.
After tossing a no-hitter but losing 4-3 to Craig earlier this season, Goecks allowed one hit and notched 13 strikeouts to pace Beloit to a 1-0 Big Eight victory over the Cougars.
Meanwhile Madison East hit the Vikings with four runs in the second inning and held on for the victory at Dawson Ball Field.
