A group of UW-Whitewater students are trying to give peace a chance.

Student activist Karen Drydyk of Fort Atkinson says Peace Week is getting a lot of support on campus. This is the second year for the event sponsored by the student P.E.A.C.E. organization, which stand for Peace, Education, and Action through Creative Engagement.

A number of activities including music, poetry, and discussions are planned through next week Thursday.

In my experience, my fellow college students at UW-Whitewater were very peaceful until you told them that sometimes there was a need for war.
